A distinctive, fully double tulip with layered petals and a changing blend of muted antique colors. A favorite for romantic spring arrangements. Tulip 'La Belle Epoque' brings beautiful spring color to the garden and makes an excellent seasonal cut flower.
Plant in fall in a sunny location with well-drained soil, with the pointed end facing up. Set bulbs approximately 6–8 inches deep, adjusting for soil and local conditions, and water after planting. Tulips need a period of winter chilling to bloom well; gardeners in warm-winter regions may need to prechill bulbs before planting. For cutting gardens, plant in groups or dedicated beds for an abundant spring harvest.
Petal Pickers Flower Co. includes planting instructions with your bulbs. For best results, follow the included guidance for your growing region.
