The First of its Kind! A fully double Pink Anemone. These Anemone start out bright pink and then fade to a light pink color as they mature.
Anemones Bloom in early Spring, and are tougher than they look! They can be grown either in the garden or in containers. Anemones can be Fall planted in Zones 7 or higher. If you live in a colder climate, you can plant these corms in early Spring.
Our rule of thumb is to cover anemones with a frost protection when temps dip below freezing. Although Anemones look delicate, they are not too fussy. Plant in well draining soil.
This variety is great for cut flowers and has a nice bloom size.
In our experience, Italian Anemones perform better in a warmer growing environment and can tolerate slightly warmer temperatures in mid Spring.
